A Blockchain is not equal to Cryptocurrency and Blockchain is not equal to Blockchain.

Newly developed blockchains are based on the principle of block immutability, combined with the ability to encrypt data content, to use "intelligent contracts" or any other data or storage size. Fast transactions and large data sizes are key skills. Fulfillment of market-specific regulatory requirements are made possible by the secured historization.

Saving and restoring critical data in the blockchain, including high-security private keys in encrypted format within the blockchain, not only allows them to be fully secured, but also protects them against loss, tampering or theft.

These capabilities can also be met by new data privacy, regulatory and governance requirements, as required by the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR-DSGVO).

This new blockchain approach also opens new, cost-effective and highly secure business opportunities for healthcare information sharing and collaboration platforms.
